The item upgrader adds a brand new widget to the top of the Angel and Cash Upgrade windows. This Manager is priced at 33 billion Angel Investors and offers no benefits to gameplay other than making it easier to see and buy upgrades.
It boosts
With an upgrader for items, you can get numerous bonuses. They can include stats as well as bonus bonuses. These bonuses can be utilized on armor, weapons, and trinkets. They can be used to boost the abilities of the character, or can be used to add an element of variety to an existing build.
The upgrade system in World of Warcraft allows players to increase the quality of their gear by spending currencies at an item upgrader NPC. The system was introduced in Mists of Pandaria and was expanded with the introduction of Warlords of Draenor. It's a great way to increase the quality of your gear, allowing you to skip the tedious grind of completing quests and avoid a bunch of wipes in Mythicand dungeons.
If an item is upgraded the type of item it is going to change. Upgrades to a normal item result in an Exceptional variant, while upgrades to an Exceptional version create an Elite. The item will keep all of its prior upgrade statistics however it will also get an additional bonus from its new base type. This bonus is randomly chosen. It could be a weapon that has a greater damage range, an improved speed of reloading, or enhanced max defense roll.
The amount of upgrades you make will determine the amount of extras you receive. Each upgrade will increase the extras in question by an increment of 1 up to a maximum of three. Additionally, every upgrade will also increase the stat that is used to determine the main one by one.
Some upgrades also give you a secondary random boost in addition to stat enhancements. These boosts can be useful and should be taken into consideration when deciding what items to upgrade. Certain boosts can only be used in certain builds (such a Whistan's Shield for FB Sorcs) Some are useful to collectors.
Some items have an inherent boo, which is not useful when upgraded, for example the Goldwrap that gives you extra potion slots. These are often upp'd to inject more value into a perfect or near-perfect item.
Costs
There are some costs related to upgrades of items. The first is the cost for the upgrade. It can be costly and is contingent on the new value of the item and the number perks it gains. It can also be expensive to upgrade an item to a higher tier (such as Explorer > Champion or Veteran > Heroic).
The other is the cost of the materials needed to upgrade. These items are usually Power Dices (dropped from monsters 21+), Minerals and Erons or a specific Mists Of Pandaria or Warlords of Draenor Quests. The quantity of these items needed can be found in the inventory of an upgrade vendor.
It takes time to upgrade an item. It can take up to 8 hours, depending on the magnitude of the upgrade. The upgraded item's base stats are calculated based on the item's new ilvl bonuses, perks, and other properties. This calculation determines the new Armor Class bonuses, damage dice, and other vital statistics. In some cases, an upgrade can grant additional perks. These perks are available on a list.
In rare cases the upgrade will replace only the most expensive bonuses. Sometimes, the upgrader may make other modifications to an item, such as changing the damage type of a weapon or adding or removing an unwieldy or operational property. The cost for these changes is determined by the item's current ilvl and it could require a specific material like the adamantine alloy.
Success Rate
Item upgrades are based on a chance, and like every random system, there's an opportunity that the upgrade won't be successful. However, there are some things that can increase the chances of success. This includes using an item called an Upgrade Pity, or the addition of additional items to the upgrade.
An Upgrade Pity is a product you can purchase from the smithing NPC in Lost Ark. It increases the chance of a successful upgrade by a percentage. This is similar to the luck bonus that certain items offer however it is more reliable. It can be added to any armor or weapon, and can be used up to three times.
You can also add other materials to the upgrade to increase the chance of success. These materials are displayed in a window above the + button. There are however limitations to this, and the highest amount of material that can be added is shown right above the + button in the UI.

A Blacksmith Blessing or an upgraded version of it, can be used to boost the odds of an upgrade being successful. This item can be useful if your weapon or piece is nearing or has reached the highest level of its tier. This item allows you to upgrade the equipment to the next tier without the risk of it breaking.
If an upgrade fails, the system will be returned to its original state. This is usually a downgrade, but could also be an upgrade. It is a good idea to save an upgrade for when you're near the maximum capacity of an item, and to use it as an emergency.
Kafra has a range of items that can be utilized in order to increase the chance of an upgrade being successful. For example upgrading an item of equipment with HD Oridecon or HD Elunium multiple times will give you a higher chance of success. Also, increasing the chances to receive a Double Mint from Shoe-Minting a maximum of five times will improve the chances of success.
Failure Rate
The upgrader of an item allows players to add an extra slot in their equipment. These slots can be used to apply an enchantment or upgrade an item. It is important to note that not all items can be upgraded. The rank of an item determines the rate at which it can be upgraded and transformed. The higher the rank, the more zen and items you will need to upgrade it.
This system can be quite expensive, particularly for top-of-the-line gear. Upgrades to weapons and armor can cost up to 100,000 z or 100 Carnium. As you advance in rank, your chances of success diminish. However, you can utilize cash shop items to increase your chances of upgrading an item effectively.
Normal Upgrade is a standard upgrade that is only applied to armor, weapons and bikes. It utilizes different core grades based on the type of item. In general, items with lower grades will require lower grade cores while items with higher quality will require higher priced ones.
To perform an upgrade that is normal, you must first have the appropriate number of cores. Click the button next the item you wish to upgrade once you've got the cores. The upgrade window will show a percentage indication of your chance of success. This percentage is based on the level of upgrade for the item and the core kind you have selected.
You can also choose a safeguard for your item which will safeguard the item in case of failure. The safeguard is not free however the cost will be lower than purchasing a new item. The safeguard is only valid only once per upgrade and will not expire until used again.
The UI for the item upgrader could be confusing, but it is not difficult to navigate. The main menu is displayed on the left, and the upgrade window is located on the right. The arrows to the left of the UI represent the various stages of the upgrade process. Click the question mark icon to seek assistance if you're unsure what you're doing. The upgrade could take five minutes.
